Location

This Thames angling venue is located adjacent to Mapledurham House in Mapledurham village. The Village is opposite Purley and west of Caversham. RG4 7TR. The venue is divided into two beats each of around 800 yards separated by a short strip of land around the House.

The stretch of river is downstream of Romney Lock, adjacent to Romney Island and Weir. It is to the north east of Windsor and is overlooked by Windsor castle. Fishing in Potts Field runs from the boatyard fence down to the railway bridge. After this bridge is Home Park and fishing is permitted from the railway bridge to Victoria Bridge where the B470 crosses the Thames. SL4 6HX.
