Location

Datchet is a village in east Berkshire, south of the M4, north of the Thames, and due east of Windsor. SL3 9ER. The conurbation lies on the north bank of the Thames.

Angler amenities

To the south east of Datchet lie the Windsorview Lakes which offer carp angling on a day ticket and syndicate basis; carp here run to over thirty pounds. To the south of the village a stretch of the Thames supplies river angling on a season ticket which holds carp, pike, bream, barbel, chub, dace, roach, perch eels, and other species.

Datchet does not hold any fishing tackle shops. The nearest fishing tackle shop is Wraysbury Baits at Staines Road, TW19 5AG. To the north east in Slough, Angling Direct has a fishing tackle shop at 26 Buckingham Ave, Slough SL1 4QA.

Further afield, is Davies Angling in Staines (47-49 Church Street TW18 4EN), and to the north of Colnbrook, is Angling Direct Farlows at Farlows Lake, Ford Lane, Iver, Bucks SL0 9LL.

Datchet does not contain any major supermarkets to stock up for fishing trips. The nearest is a Waitrose based at King Edward Court, Windsor SL4 1TG.
