Location

This stretch of the Colne runs from Longbridge Way UB8 2YG (just south of the A4007 St John’s Road) downstream to Iver Lane (UB8 2JG). The fishery runs along the west side of Uxbridge Moor and Chiltern Business Village.

Fishing at Home Park

A long narrow water, this is actually a 17th century canal. The banks are generally flat and maintained, and the Long Water is flanked by lime trees planted in 2004. Long Water Location

Long Water, Home Park is sited in Hampton Court Park, due east of Hampton Court Palace. The park is south of Teddington, bordered to the south and east by the Thames and by Hampton Court Road to the north. KT8 9AU. The park is accessed from Hampton Court Road by the junction with Church Grove.

Fishing at Lizards Lakes

Description


Lizard Fishery comprises two small lakes offering coarse angling via day ticket. Lake One holds a good head of smaller carp (5-10lb, with bigger ones) and bream and tench. Lake Two contains larger carp (boilies only allowed on this lake). Both lakes hold plenty of silver fish and are suitable for pleasure angling.

Day tickets have to be purchased from a machine in the car park on the lake on the west side of Trout Road.

This long stretch of canal starts at Bulls Bridge in the south west of Southall, heading north past Greenford, the turns east adjacent to Northolt, and continues eastward past Perivale to the south, and on through Alperton and Park Royal, then skirting North Acton before passing Kensal Green to the north and ending at Ladbroke Grove Gas Docks.
