Description
River Thames, Rivermead Island is a short stretch of river supplying free coarse angling in a park island in Lower Sunbury. Approximately half of the bank-side is tree-lined, with much of the rest flattish grassland with several swims.
Parking is available in Thames Street, and at a small car park on the main river bank adjacent to the east end of the island. There is a swim at this point that faces Sunbury Court Island.
