The Blue Lake fishery (also known as Sawyers Lake) is situated on the west side of Gravesend, at Northfleet. The A226 Thames Way runs along the south west bank of the lake, Springhead Road runs along the east bank and the railway runs alongside the north bank.

Description
The Inn On The Lake fishery is a set of three lakes in a row situated in Kent woodland. The large lake is called the Main Lake, then there is the Middle Lake and the Small Lake.
The Main Lake has the larger fish and the depth varies rom four feet to twenty feet in the north east corner. The Middle Lake has the medium sized fish and depth is around eight feet. The Small Lake is around three feet in depth, has smaller fish and is the easier lake for anglers.

Road & Island Lake is a large oblong-shaped gravel pit with a big point pushing out of the centre of the eastern bank; this along with several islands in the area effectively split the lake into two halves. The venue has numerous islands and bars, plus some tree-lined areas. The south west bank is occupied by a housing estate and angling is not permitted there.
