Fishing at New Hythe
Information about fishing at Road & Island Lake including fishery location, fish species present, ticket type, and fishery controller. Part of a guide to angling in Snodland.
Road & Island Lake is a large oblong-shaped gravel pit with a big point pushing out of the centre of the eastern bank; this along with several islands in the area effectively split the lake into two halves. The venue has numerous islands and bars, plus some tree-lined areas. The south west bank is occupied by a housing estate and angling is not permitted there.
The fishing venue offers specimen carp and pike angling on a syndicate ticket basis. For the fishing club/owner’s webpage for this angling venue click HERE.
