Description


The Ocean is a large gravel pit with a square-shaped west end and an oval-shaped arm that runs off to the north east. A large island blocks the lake between the two main areas. Much of the water is tree-lined and is home to a water sports centre; the public also have access to the banks. The fishing venue offers specimen carp and pike angling on a syndicate ticket basis. The Ocean lake is a big fishing venue in the south of Leybourne Lakes Country Park. The park lies between Snodland and Larkfield, and The Ocean is situated north of Lunsford / New Hythe, on the north side of Leybourne Way. Leybourne is in north Kent, north west of Maidstone. ME20 6FW.
