Information about Middlesex angling for coarse and game species
Middlesex fishing comes in a variety of waters. To the south of the county the Thames provides some opportunities to fish a big river holding specimen coarse fish, whereas the western border of Middlesex is largely formed by the River Colne or the Colne Brook, which offer small river angling for the typical river coarse species including barbel and chub. The Grand Union Canal runs through the centre of Middlesex and supplies pleasure angling for silver fish and other species.
Additionally Middlesex holds park lakes, estate lakes, and mature gravel pits that offer good quality specimen, predator and pleasure angling.
