Harefield is a conurbation that lies on the western edge of Middlesex, between Rickmansworth and Uxbridge. Harefield sits in the Colne Valley and is close to the River Colne and the Grand Union Canal. UB9 6BJ.
The Harefield area has canal fishing present courtesy of the Grand Union, and also river angling via the Rivers Colne, Colnebrook and Frays which provide ample pleasure angling and specimen river fishing. Additionally Harefield is surrounded by a wealth of gravel pits previously dug in the 20th century for gravel and sand extraction. Pleasure and specimen fishing abounds in the Harefield area. In truth some of the finest and most historic fishing lakes are located in the area.
