Location
Staines is a large town on the Thames near the western M25, served by the A30. TW18 4QR.In the surrounding areas are some of the most famous carp lakes in Britain.
The River Thames provides river fishing in the Staines area, while numerous lakes in the area supply season ticket fishing for large carp and general coarse fish.

The town has a large retail presence for an angler to stock up for fishing trips, and adjacent to Davies Angling is the Two Rivers Retail Park. This contains a Waitrose. On the west side of the Thames there is a Sainsbury’s based on the south side of The Causeway (TW18 3AP).
