Description


Brittens Pond is a stillwater with three islands in north Guilford offering pleasure angling and carp fishing on a season ticket. The lake goes down to around four feet, and holds perch, crucians, tench, roach, perch and carp to over 20lb, but which average at 12lb.

There are numerous swims all round the lake, with a good path and nearby parking.

Papercourt is a large fishing lake (plus a small lake to the south of the main lake) which is open to the elements, shared with a sailing club, offering specimen fishing for carp and pike in the Ripley and Send Marsh area. Picturesque with swims around most of the lake, the public have right of way along all the fishing area. There is an official car park behind locked gates. The Legends Lake is a fishing water based on Apps Court Farm which is on the north side of Hurst Road (A3050) as it heads out of Walton towards Molesey. The lake is just northwest of the point where the A3050 meets the B369. KT12 2EG.

Fishpool lake lies east of Chobham village on the south eastern edge of Chobham Common, at the south end of Gracious Pond Road where it meets Stonehill Road (directly west of the junction).
