A long narrow water, this is actually a 17th century canal. The banks are generally flat and maintained, and the Long Water is flanked by lime trees planted in 2004. Fishing at Sheep Walk

Description


Sheepwalk fishery is a two-lake complex supplying coarse and carp angling via season ticket in the Shepperton area. For the club’s webpage for this venue click HERE. The larger lake is next to the M3 and is mainly targeted by carp anglers. The smaller lake is a mixed fishery holding tench and carp.  The large lake has an average depth of about 18 foot and was stocked in recent years with some 50 ‘Dintons’ that have grown rapidly.

The small lake is also deep, and holds carp to over 30lb, tench to 13lbs and bream of 17lb+.

The Civil Service Angling Society has now obtained access to these lakes and has absorbed them into its Ellis Water venue.
