Description


Brittens Pond is a stillwater with three islands in north Guilford offering pleasure angling and carp fishing on a season ticket. The lake goes down to around four feet, and holds perch, crucians, tench, roach, perch and carp to over 20lb, but which average at 12lb.

There are numerous swims all round the lake, with a good path and nearby parking.

Papercourt is a large fishing lake (plus a small lake to the south of the main lake) which is open to the elements, shared with a sailing club, offering specimen fishing for carp and pike in the Ripley and Send Marsh area.
