Location
Weybridge lies in the western half of Surrey, and is located on the south side of the River Thames to the south of Shepperton and east of Chertsey. The River Wey empties into the Thames at Weybridge, whilst the Wey Navigation joins the Thames here as well. The A317 and A3050 run through the conurbation. KT13 8DX.
Angler amenities
The Wey Navigation provides canal fishing in the west of the town, while the River Wey offers river angling on a season ticket. Free fishing is provided by the Thames, with easy access along Walton Lane in east Weybridge.
A fishing tackle shop is available in the Weybridge area at Weybridge Guns and Tackle is located at 137 Oatlands Drive, Weybridge KT13 9LB. Parking is available free in the adjacent St Mary’s Road. Alternatively, other nearby fishing tackle shops are Apollo Angling Centre (64, High Road, West Byfleet KT14 7QL) and Tackle Exchange (97 Terrace Road, Walton-On-Thames KT12 2SG).
Most of the shopping areas are located in High Street and Baker Street. A large Morrisons is sited at 15 Monument Hill, KT13 8RT. There is a Waitrose located on the north side of High Street at the eastern end of this road (62 High Street KT13 8BL). A Sainsburys Local is based at 8-9 Temple Market, Queens Road, KT13 9DL.
