Dorchester is an Oxfordshire village which lies in the valleys of the River Thame and the River Thames, lying on the north side of the river to the north of Wallingford, and downstream of Abingdon. OX10 7HR.

River fishing in Dorchester is readily available on River Thame and the River Thames, while to the north west at Orchid lakes angling for catfish and carp is on offer. To the south east of Dorchester a local angling club provides coarse fishing at Meadside Still Water. Season ticket and day ticket coarse angling is supplied just north of the town at Dorchester Lake.
