Location
Wraysbury is located between Staines and Old Windsor on the east side of the Thames. It is close to the M25 and is in the far east of Berkshire. The B376 runs through the village and the area holds some of Britain’s most famous fisheries.
The River Colne Brook provides river fishing in the area, with chub and barbel available. All other fishing is via stillwaters with the famous Wraysbury gravel pits dominating the scene.

The nearest fishing tackle shop is Wraysbury Baits at Staines Road, TW19 5AG, and after that Davies Angling in Staines (47-49 Church Street TW18 4EN).
There are no supermarkets in Wraysbury. In nearby Staines there is a Waitrose at the Two Rivers Retail Park TW18 4WB (pay and display car park), and a little further on there is a Sainsbury’s at The Causeway TW18 3AP. To the west there is a Budgens in Old Windsor at 92 Straight Road SL4 2RX.
