Location

Wraysbury is located between Staines and Old Windsor on the east side of the Thames. It is close to the M25 and is in the far east of Berkshire. The B376 runs through the village and the area holds some of Britain’s most famous fisheries. TW19 5NW.

Angler amenities

The River Colne Brook provides river fishing in the area, with chub, bream and barbel available. All other fishing is via still-waters with the famous Wraysbury gravel pits dominating the scene, and specimen angling for carp, pike and tench on offer.

The nearest fishing tackle shop is Wraysbury Baits at Staines Road, TW19 5AG, and after that Davies Angling in Staines (47-49 Church Street TW18 4EN).

There are no supermarkets in Wraysbury. In nearby Staines there is a Waitrose at the Two Rivers Retail Park TW18 4WB (pay and display car park), and a little further on there is a Sainsbury’s at The Causeway TW18 3AP.
