Location
Windsor is a historic town in eastern Berkshire on the River Thames, lying west of the M25 and south of the M4, close to Junction 6. The A308 runs though the town, and the Thames runs along the northern edge of Windsor. The town is sited between Maidenhead and Staines. SL4 1ER.

Angler amenities
River angling around Windsor is provided by the Thames, while to the south of Windsor several fishing lakes provide sport in Windsor Great Park on a season ticket. Additionally, to the east at Datchet the Windsorview lakes provide day ticket fishing.
Windsor has no fishing tackle shops. However, in nearby Slough Angling Direct has a fishing tackle shop at 26 Buckingham Ave, Slough SL1 4QA. Furthermore, to the east is Wraysbury Bait Ltd at Rosendale Gardens, Staines Road, Wraysbury TW19 5AG.
Windsor has two major supermarkets to stock up at for angling trips. Namely there is a Tesco is at Dedworth Road, Windsor SL4 4JT, and also a Waitrose is based at King Edward Court, Windsor SL4 1TG.
