The town of Slough sits in the north eastern corner of Berkshire, just north of the Thames. SL1 1EA. Close by much angling is available at Maidenhead, Windsor and Horton. In Slough itself, fishing is provided solely by the Slough Arm of the Grand Union Canal. Just north of the town lies Black Park Lake fishing venue, in Buckinghamshire.

Just east of the town centre there is large Sainsbury’s at Uxbridge Road, Slough, Berkshire SL1 1SW, on the junction of the A4 and the A412.
