Canterbury and District Angling Association has eleven lakes and a long stretch of the River Stour in the Canterbury area of Kent. The club has a Trout Section for fly fishing.

Most of the club’s venues are sited in the Canterbury area. The city lies about two miles south‑west of Fordwich and 23 miles east of Gillingham, placing it firmly in the eastern part of the county of Kent. Canterbury is roughly 55 miles east of London, which helps show how it fits into Kent’s wider geography.
