Backwater, Penshurst is a short stretch of small rural river set in an estate with a flow like a still-water that provides coarse angling via season ticket. The venue holds many species including pike, carp and tench, and is shared by two angling clubs: Penshurst Angling Society and Orpington & District Angling Association. Location
Backwater, Penshurst is located on the west side of Penshurt village in Kent. Penshurst lies north west of Royal Tunbridge Wells. TN11 8DR. Fishing runs upstream from the Medway and past Penshurst Pace to the bridge under Rogues Hill road (B2176). Angling is from the south bank.
