The Medway is a long river that arises in Sussex, but flows through a large section of Kent, offering some excellent angling along the way. The river flows through Tonbridge and Maidstone, and joins the Thames by Chatham on the north coast of Kent.
Many fish species are present in the River Medway including pike, bream, chub, barbel, roach, perch, and dace. The lower reaches hold the odd carp, whilst the upper reaches hold some trout.
