The fishery is mainly suburban and passes along some parkland, taking in the A509, Childs Way, Chaffron Way, Standing Way (A421), Groveway, the A5, Bletcham Way, Watling Street, and the A4146.

Location
This stretch of canal is located on the east side of Milton Keynes and runs from Bridge No 81 near Colesbourne Drive between Willen Park and Downhead Park (MK15 9JY), southwards through Newlands, Woolstone, Eaglestone, Woughton Park, Simpson, Fenny Stortford, past Water Eaton to Bridge No 102 at Mill Lane just north of Stoke Hammond (MK17 9BF).
