Location

River Windrush, Lower Witney runs along the east side of Witney down past the area due east of Ducklington. The river is split into two parts here, with the main waterway to the east and the backwater to the west. The fishery runs from above Mill Farm Lane (just west of Cogges) down to the vicinity of Gill Mill on the mainstream, and to the vicinity of Cokethorpe on the backwater.

Farmoor Reservoir is a huge fishery supplying coarse angling and fly fishing via season and (prebooked) day ticket. Split into two by a causeway, Farmoor Reservoir fishery holds two waters. Trout fishing is available on both waters; however, one is for catch and release angling.
