Details
A very picturesque stretch of the Wey Navigation, running between Pyrford and Ripley and crossed by the B367 Newark Lane. Between the Newark Lane and Newark Lock the water is classic canal, but upstream of Newark Lane the Navigation is wide and makes several turns, providing backwaters and other features.
Much of this stretch features fields and spacious swims.
Access is at Newark Lane where a small free car park sits on the west side of the road.
Downstream stretch: Walsham Gates to Newark Lock
Upstream stretch: Papercourt Lock to Worsfold Gates
