Lightwater is located just south of Junction 3 on the M3, east of Camberley. GU18 5RG. Including Windlesham, a village to the north east of Lightwater.

There is no fishing tackle shop in Lightwater, and the nearest fishing tackle shops are
Pentangle Pets and Tackle to the south at 34 High St, Knaphill, Woking, GU21 2PY, and to the north Crowthorne Angling Centre: 91-95 Church St, Crowthorne RG45 7AW.

For stocking up for fishing trips there is a small retail area in Lightwater around the junction of Guildford Road and Ambleside Road in Lightwater, with shops spread along each side of the road. There is a Co-op at The Square, 57 – 61 Guildford Rd GU18 5SA.
