Location
Esher is located to the east of Hersham, at the meeting point of the A244 and A307 (Portsmouth Road). It is home to Sandown Park Racecourse. KT10 9RA.

Very little angling is available in the Esher area as the local lakes are closed to fishing and the River Mole is controlled by the local authority who do not permit fishing on their land.
The nearest tackle shops are Esher Angling Centre at Pond House, Weston Green, Thames Ditton KT7 0JX, and Surbiton Angling Centre (31 Station Approach, Esher KT10 0SR).
The main shopping area of the town is around the High Street where the A307 meets the A244 and there is a supermarket to stock up for fishing trips, provided by a Waitrose at 105 High Street, KT10 9QE.
