Egham is a small town just to the west of Staines, lying just south of where the M25 crosses the Thames. TW20 9EA.

The Thames offers numerous options for river fishing to the north, including the pleasant Runnymede Park. Lake fishing is available at Devil’s Lane Lake to the south of the town which is available on a season ticket and holds specimen bream, tench and carp.

There are no fishing tackle shops in Egham. The nearest fishing tackle shops are Wraysbury Bait Ltd Staines Road, TW19 5AG and Davies Angling (47-49 Church Street, Staines TW18 4EN).

Most of the shopping area is on the High Street where there is a Tesco at No 60-63 (TW20 9EX) and an Iceland at No 160-163 (TW20 9HP); nearby there is an M&S at Egham Hill (TW20 0ET).
