Location
Cranleigh is a small town some way to the south east of Guildford, between the A3 and the A24. It is located in the south of Surrey in a rural area. GU6 8AP
Angler amenities
There is no river angling in Cranleigh. Within the town itself coarse fishing is supplied at The Fisheries by Cranleigh Angling Society where two still-waters offer carp (including grass carp), tench, crucians, perch, roach, and rudd.
North west of Cranleigh two small still-waters at Grafham supply pleasure angling for carp tench and bream on a season ticket basis.
To the north of the town at the Willinghurst fishery day ticket angling is provided at a large and diverse complex. Just north of Willinghurst, Barnett Pond offers season ticket pleasure angling.
South of Cranleigh coarse fishing is available at Furze farm via a Surrey fishing club; carp to over thirty pound are present along with big bream.

Cranleigh has no fishing tackle shop, but does have a local bait supplier: Cranleigh Bait Services at 86 New Park Road, Cranleigh GU6 7JN.
