River Colne, Rickmansworth lies on the south side of Rickmansworth, along the north and west bank of Stockers Lake. The fishery starts just above the footbridge over the river where the public footpath that runs between Stockers Lake and Bury Lake crosses over the Colne. From there fishing is permitted downstream to just below Springwell Lane bridge. Fishing is from the east bank only. A small beat is also available further downstream on the west bank just before the river enters the Grand Union Canal.
