Description
Tar Farm Lake Eight is a medium-sized, oblong-shaped still-water with some bays and some tree-lined sections of bank. The water goes down to in excess of 20 feet in places, especially in the south of the lake. Location
Tar Farm Lake 8 is part of the Tar Farm Complex which lies south east of Witney in Oxon, on the Tar Lane / Cogges Road which links Witney to Stanton Harcourt village. The entrance to the fishery is opposite Tar Farm Cottages, about half way between the A40 at Witney and Stanton Harcourt. Lake Eight is the middle of the three fishing lakes which lie next to the River Windrush in the complex. OX29 5AL.
