Location

Thame is a town in the north of eastern Oxfordshire between Oxford and Aylesbury. It lies in the valley of the River Thame on the east side of the M40. OX9 3BH.

River fishing is offered at several venues courtesy of the River Thame, fly fishing is available to the south of Thame at Adwell, coarse fishing including catfish is on offer at Milton Pools to the west of Thame, and further coarse angling on day ticket is supplied to the south east of Thame at Upper Farm Fishery in Henton.

Angler amenities

There are no fishing tackle shops in Thame. However, in nearby Chinnor to the south east the nearest fishing tackle shop is available at Upper Farm Fishery, Upper Farm, Henton, Chinnor OX39 4AQ.

To stock up for angling trips Thame has a Sainsbury’s in the town centre at 1 High St, Thame, OX9 2BU.
