Location

Thame is a town in the north of eastern Oxfordshire between Oxford and Aylesbury. It lies in the valley of the River Thame on the east side of the M40. OX9 3BH.

Angler amenities

River fishing is offered at several venues courtesy of the River Thame which flows through the town and where angling is on a season ticket basis. The river contains many coarse fish species including pike, bream, chub, roach, perch, dace and even the odd trout.

Fly fishing is available to the south of Thame at Adwell, where angling for trout on eight pools is on offer via day and season ticket.

Coarse fishing on still-waters, including catfish, is on offer at Milton Pools to the west of Thame at Milton Common. Angling here is on day or night ticket and provides angling for carp and cats to over forty pounds, pike to over thirty pounds, and tench to over ten pounds.

Further coarse angling on day ticket is supplied to the south east of Thame at Upper Farm Fishery in Henton.
