Location
Standlake is a village in south western Oxfordshire, south of Witney and west of Abingdon. It lies just east of the A415 some distance to the north of the Thames.

Fly fishing around Standlake is available at Martins Lane Lake and coarse angling is offered by the Standlake Lagoons complex on both season and day tickets.
Standlake has no fishing tackle shops. The nearest is to the north at Witney: State Fishing Tackle, 23 Fettiplace Rd, Witney OX28 5AP. To the west another fishing tackle shop is available at Bampton: Rv’s Fishing Tackle, Unit 2 THE OLD FOUNDRY, Main St, Clanfield, Bampton OX18 2SP.
Standlake has no supermarkets. The nearest for stocking up for angling trips is a Tesco Esso Express in Witney at Station Ln, Witney OX28 4EJ, and a little further away is a full size Sainsbury’s at Witan Way, Witney OX28 4FF.
