River Evenlode, Charlbury is a prolonged stretch of river running from below Ascott Mill (just north of Ascott-under-Wychwood) and thence downstream north of Chilson, under Pudlicote Lane and Catsham Bridge, then east towards Charlbury, under Dyer’s Hill Bridge, through Cornbury Park, and onto Fawler.
