Location

Goring is located in south west Oxfordshire, to the north west of Reading. Goring lies in the Thames valley close to Streatley and is where the B4009 and B4526 main roads meet. RG8 9HA.

In Goring fishing is provided by the River Thames which flows along the western and southern edge of the town. Several stretches are on offer including at South Stoke, at the Lock, and to the south of the town. Species available include barbel, chub, bream, roach, perch, dace, and pike.
