Location
Yalding is a Kent village south west of Maidstone and north of Paddock Wood, lying on the east bank of the River Medway. ME18 6JB.

River fishing is available on the Medway and to the east of the village on the River Beult at Hunton. To the south west of Yalding lake angling is on offer at Laddingford Lake.
Angling in Yalding is exclusively coarse, and is dominated by the river fishing offered by the Medway and Beult which merge in the vicinity. Fishing clubs have access to several venues on these rivers. Laddington Lake provides coarse stillwater angling to the south west of the village.
Yalding has no fishing tackle shop, but there are two close by. The nearest is to the north at Wateringbury where Trade-in-Tackle are based at Maidstone Rd, Wateringbury, Maidstone, ME18 5EH. To the south west of Yalding, at Beltring, Fishon Tackle are at Fortsal House, Maidstone Rd, Paddock Wood TN12 6PY.
