Description
Ballast Pit is a narrow oblong still-water, with lily pads and overhanging trees, supplying pleasure coarse angling and specimen carp fishing via season ticket in the Lower Haysden area. The lake is set in a rural location adjacent to a large country park and holds crucians, perch, roach, rudd, bream, pike, tench and very large carp. Ballast Pit Location
Adjacent to Haysden Country Park the Ballast Pit is on the north side of Lower Haysden village. North of Lower Haysden Lane, the venue is the western of two still-waters on the opposite side of the railway to Barden Lake. Lower Haysden is on the south west side of Tonbridge. TN11 9BB.
