Location

Sittingbourne lies in northern Kent, south of the Isle of Sheppey, straddling the A2 between Gillingham and Faversham. ME10 4AH.

Season ticket fishing is available at Kemsley in north Sittingbourne courtesy of a local angling club which controls two fishing lakes that hold carp, pike, tench, bream, rudd, roach and perch. One of the lakes holds pike and carp to over twenty pounds and the other to over thirty.

To the west of the town Horsham Fishing Lake offers pleasure fishing in the Upchurch area. This is a long narrow day ticket angling lake.

Additionally, to the east at Teynham, a day ticket fishery offers coarse fishing on four waters for carp to over thirty pounds, tench, bream, rudd, roach and perch.

Furthermore, fly fishing is available on a syndicate bases to the north of Sittingbourne at Millan Waters Lake.

Sittingbourne has a fishing tackle shop; Angling Direct have a branch at Unit 3/1C, Trinity Trading Estate, Tribune Dr, Sittingbourne ME10 2PG. To the east of the town there is a tackle shop onsite at the Willows Angling Centre fishery, Bax Farm House, Lower Rd, Sittingbourne ME9 9BY.

Sittingbourne has numerous supermarkets for stocking up for fishing trips. In the north there is an Asda at Trinity Trading Estate, Mill Way, Sittingbourne ME10 2PD.
Additionally on the east side of Sittingbourne there is an Aldi at East St, Sittingbourne ME10 4BL.
Furthermore in the centre of the town there is a Morrisons at Mill Way, Sittingbourne ME10 3EX, and a LIDL at West St, Sittingbourne ME10 1AR.
