Location

Royal Tunbridge Wells is situated in south west Kent, just south of Tonbridge. The town sits astride the A26, and the A21 skirts its eastern edge. TN1 1NS.

In the east of the town at Dunorlan Park day ticket coarse fishing is available courtesy of the local authority. South east of Royal Tunbridge Wells at Bells Yew Green day ticket pleasure and specimen angling is on offer at Frants Lakes. Fly fishing is provided to the east of the town at Spring Hill Trout Waters, and also to the south at Chalybeat Springs Trout Fishery. The River Medway supplies coarse river angling in the vicinity, as does the Eridge Stream. Season ticket coarse angling is provided by two ponds near Groombridge to the west of the town.

Royal Tunbridge Wells has two tackle shops. In the centre of the town there is the Friendly Fisherman at 25 Camden Rd, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2PS.

To the north east of Tunbridge Wells there is a Tesco at Woodsgate Corner, Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, TN2 4NE.
