Location
Rolvenden is a small village in southern Kent, close to the Isle of Oxney and the Rother Levels. The village lies south west of Tenterden and sits astride the A28. TN17 4ND.
Angler amenities
Coarse angling in the Rolvenden area is offered by a local day ticket lake at Rolvenden Layne (which contains carp to upper 20s), the River Rother to the south of the village (species include pike, bream, chub, rudd, roach, perch and eels), and two channels to the east and south east which hold carp, pike, tench, bream, chub, rudd, roach, and perch.

Rolvenden has no fishing tackle shops. However, to the west there is one near Hawkhurst at the Hawkhurst Fish Farm complex, Hastings Rd, Hawkhurst, TN18 4RT.
There are no supermarkets to stock up for fishing trips in Rolvenden, but to the north east at Tenterden there is a Tesco at Highbury Works, Small Hythe Rd, Tenterden TN30 7LN
