Location
Paddock Wood is a Kent village lying in the western half of Kent, to the east of Tonbridge and south of the River Medway. The conurbation sits close to the A228. TN12 6ER.
Angler amenities
The Paddock Wood area offers a wealth of angling options. Three local complexes hold several lakes with a variety of coarse angling, whilst a stretch of the River Medway supplies river fishing on a season ticket.
Lucks Lane Lake to the north west of Paddock Wood provides day and season ticket fishing for 40lb carp and general coarse species including tench, eels, rudd and roach.
The Tricklebrook Fishery on the west side of the village has two lakes and offers angling for carp to over forty pounds, catfish, tench and large perch.
Orchard Place Farm fishery which lies south east of Paddock Wood village holds a large number of lakes and supplies day ticket angling for huge carp and catfish, along with pleasure fishing for many species including ide, tench, barbel, chub, bream, rudd, roach and perch.
The Gedges Lakes fishing complex, situated to the south of Paddock Wood, provides season ticket fishing for carp to 30lb, tench, crucians, chub, perch, eels, roach, barbel, and chub.

There is a fishing tackle shop to the north of Paddock Wood, at Beltring where Fishon Tackle are at Fortsal House, Maidstone Rd, TN12 6PY.
Additionally there are two other fishing tackle shops a little further afield. To the north is Trade-in-Tackle at Maidstone Road, Wateringbury, Maidstone, ME18 5EH. To the west is Medway Tackle at 103 Shipbourne Road, Tonbridge, TN10 3EJ.
