Location

Lydd lies on the southern coast of Kent, between Folkestone and Hastings, to the south of Romney Marsh. TN29 9JH.

There is no river fishing in the Lydd area. However, numerous gravels pits and lakes supply a range of coarse angling options from pleasure angling to specimen fishing for pike, carp and other species.

Lydd has no fishing tackle shop, but there are two in nearby conurbations. Romney Angling is the nearest at 59 High St, New Romney TN28 8AH. On the coast due east of Lydd is Seagull Fishing Tackle, 4 The Parade, Greatstone, Romney Marsh TN28 8NP.

Lydd has no supermarkets, but there are some to stock up for fishing trips nearby. A Costcutter is located at Romney Sand Holiday Village, The Parade, Greatstone, New Romney, TN28 8RN, and a Sainsbury’s is to be found at Dymchurch Rd, New Romney, TN28 8GU.
