Location

Headcorn is a village in southern Kent, set in the Low Weald, lying west of Ashford and south of Maidstone. Headcorn is sited on the A247 east of Staplehurst and north of Biddenden. TN27 9QP.

Angler amenities

Fishing in Headcorn area is provided by the Manor Fisheries and Sams Lakes venues which offer coarse angling to the east of the village.

Manor Fisheries provides season ticket angling for carp to over thirty pounds, catfish to forty pounds, crucians, tench, rudd, roach, perch and bream.

Further east lies Sams Lakes which is a rural fishery with three lakes offering carp angling and pleasure fishing on a day ticket. Carp to over twenty pounds are available along with tench, bream, perch, roach, and rudd.

Headcorn does not have a fishing tackle shop, but there is one close by to the south at Cackle Hill Fishery, Headcorn Rd, Biddenden, Ashford TN27 8JW.

Headcorn has a supermarket to stock up for fishing trips with a Sainsbury’s Local based at 34 High St, Headcorn, Ashford TN27 9NE.
