Location

Faversham lies in north Kent, close to The Swale on the coast, with Canterbury to the east and Sittingbourne to the west. The town sits next to J6 of the M2. ME13 8DY.

Angler amenities

In the north of Faversham there are several waters run by local angling clubs providing specimen fishing for carp, tench and pike. To the east near Hernhill day ticket pleasure angling is available courtesy of a two lake venue. Faversham town holds a number of coarse angling lakes offering season ticket fishing.

There are no fishing tackle shops in Faversham. The nearest is in Sittingbourne to the west at the Willows Angling Centre fishery, Bax Farm House, Lower Rd, Sittingbourne ME9 9BY.

Faversham has numerous supermarkets for stocking up for fishing trips. In the centre of Faversham there is a Morrisons at North Lane, Faversham, ME13 7DY, and a Tesco at Crescent Rd, Faversham, ME13 7AS.
