Bethersden is a village in southern Kent, located to the west of Ashford, and sitting astride the A28. TN26 3AF.

Angling in the Bethersden area is provided by three fisheries.
In south Bethersden lies the Chequertree Fishery which holds several lakes and offers fly fishing, pleasure coarse fishing and specimen carp angling on a day ticket basis.
Lovelace Farm Fishery is sited to the west of Bethersden and supplies day ticket fishing for big carp of over twenty pounds.
Surrenden Lakes is a three-lake complex lying east of Bethersden village. The venue holds large carp, plus bream, tench and barbel which can be fished for on a season ticket basis courtesy of Ashford Angling Society.
There are no fishing tackle shops in Bethersden; the nearest is to the east at Ashford – Angling Direct at 94, Ellingham Industrial Estate, Ellingham Way, Ashford TN23 6LZ.
Bethersden has no supermarkets to stock up for fishing trips. To the south west at High Halden there is a convenience store – One Stop, The White House Rd, High Halden, Ashford, TN26 3LP. The nearest large supermarket is a Tesco Extra at Moatfield Mdw, Kingsnorth, Ashford TN23 3LU.
