Location

Taplow is located east of Maidenhead in the south of Buckinghamshire, on the east bank of the River Thames, north of the M4. SL6 0DA.

River angling in the Taplow area is provided courtesy of the nearby Jubilee River where fishing is controlled by Thames Valley Angling Association and fishing is permitted to affiliated angling clubs such as by Old Windsor Angling Club.

Meanwhile Berry Hill Lake offers season ticket stillwater fishing for large carp and tench, with bream and roach also present. Angling is controlled by Kingsmoor Anglers.

Taplow has supermarkets for stocking up for angling trips. There is a Tesco in the south of Taplow near the station at Bath Rd, Taplow, Bucks SL6 0NX. Additionally a Sainsbury’s is present to the south east of Taplow at Lake End Rd, Taplow, Bucks SL6 0QH.
