Location

Burnham is a village located on south Buckinghamshire, to the east of the River Thames and to the north of Jubilee River. The town lies between Slough and Maidenhead close to the A4. SL1 7HR.

Angler amenities

Fishing is provided in this large village by a set of lakes on the west side of the conurbation which are run by an angling club. Fishing is via a season ticket and the three lakes contain tench, crucians, roach and rudd.

There are no fishing tackle shops in Burnham. The nearest is Angling Direct at 26 Buckingham Ave, Slough SL1 4QA.

Burnham has no supermarkets for stocking up for angling trips, but to the south of Burnham there are stores of the main supermarket chains. There is a Tesco in the south of Taplow near the station at Bath Rd, Taplow, Bucks SL6 0NX. A Sainsbury’s is present to the south east of Taplow at Lake End Rd, Taplow, Bucks SL6 0QH.
