Knott’s Lake is part of the Widmead complex, sited south of Thatcham. RG19 3FU. The complex is south of The Nature Discovery Centre at Muddy Lane, Lower Way, Thatcham, located between the Kennet & Avon Canal and the railway.

A large stillwater with a big island, supplying pleasure angling via season ticket near Thatcham. For the club’s webpage for this venue click HERE. The venue is an SSSI, and has depths varying from shallow in the west end to 12 feet in some areas. It is not prone to weed in the summer.
