Angling in Lamberhurst is dominated by Bewl Water, a huge rural stillwater just south of the village offering angling for trout and pike (which go to over 30lb). Pike fishing is available via either day or season ticket, but the fly fishing is only via day ticket.
To the south west of the village a four lake complex offers season ticket coarse angling at Owls castle Lakes. Paddock Wood Angling and Conservation Society operate this venue which provides fishing for carp and tench.
