Canterbury is located in north east Kent near the interchange of the A2 and A28, in the Great Stour river valley. CT1 2RA.

The Canterbury area offers a wide range of coarse angling. River fishing is provided by the River Stour which runs through the conurbation. Meanwhile, east and west of Canterbury still-waters offer pleasure fishing and specimen angling.
Canterbury has no fishing tackle shops, but two miles north there is Blean Angling at 5 Tyler Hill Rd, Blean, Canterbury CT2 9HP.
Canterbury has several supermarkets to stock up for fishing trips. A Sainsbury’s store is present in the centre of the town at St Johns Hall Kingsmead Rd, Canterbury, CT1 1BW. In addition a branch of Asda is present in the north of Canterbury by the A28 at Sturry Rd, Canterbury CT1 1DG. Alternatively, in the south of the conurbation is a Morrisons at Ten Perch Rd, Canterbury CT1 3TQ.
